To Inventor users, the real strength of Presenter 3D for Inventor has been Digital Immersion's unique ability to create a streamlined workflow and clean user interface presented in a method that is easily digestible.
To create a product that will add significant value to AutoCAD users, offer seamless integration, and have a minimal learning curve, Digital Immersion plans to redesign the interface of Presenter 3D to more closely match that of AutoCAD.
At this time, Digital Immersion is seeking highly qualified individuals as beta testers for this new software.
The Company is not looking for users with a long resume of beta testing products, but rather expert AutoCAD users who can share industry wide opinions and feedback.
"We've taken our traditional approach in developing a familiar interface for AutoCAD users," says Terry Cotant, vice president of Product Development and Marketing, Digital Immersion.
"The goal of course is to make sure that AutoCAD users have a tool where they can enjoy the familiar same-day productivity that our Inventor users do today." "Our objective is to make Presenter 3D for AutoCAD easy to learn, easy to use, yet very powerful," said Jeff Demore, beta coordinator at Digital Immersion.
"We've witnessed a growing number of users whose companies depend on them to produce accurate product representations, virtual photos, walk through animations, and more.
The issue is that most of them simply don't have the time or resources to invest in learning other 3D software that's not geared to their specific needs.
The learning curve-due to interface inconsistencies-is often a six month or more investment just to get started.
We intend to satisfy their needs by enabling them to repurpose existing corporate assets, in an environment in which they can be immediately productive." Interested parties with a strong background in AutoCAD using 3D solids can join the Presenter 3D for AutoCAD 2005 Beta Program by contacting Beta Coordinator Jeff Demore at 1-(877)-272-0804.
