Digital Union, a leading e-business solutions provider for small to medium-sized enterprises, has announced that it has appointed Darryl Owen as its new Sales Director.
Digital Union, a leading e-business solutions provider for small to medium-sized enterprises, has announced that it has appointed Darryl Owen as its new Sales Director.
Owen will be responsible for increasing Digital Union's sales capacity and helping to nurture and facilitate its continued growth as a company.
This latest appointment follows a period of sustained investment and expansion for Digital Union.
Owen has worked in the application software area of the IT industry for over 15 years.
During this period, he has successfully led global in-house IT projects for a Fortune 300 company, worked on an international basis for software editors (Mannesmann Kienzle, Oracle UK, Oracle Switzerland and Retek) and has risen to the top of the consultancy profession as a partner with Deloitte Consulting.
"I am delighted to join Digital Union at this exciting time of investment and growth, and look forward to playing a key role in the company's continued success," comments Owen.
"With my experience and entrepreneurial attitude, the right team, and full commitment from the Board, I believe that I can help Digital Union realise its full revenue potential over the coming years." Owen's last position was Vice President of European Operations at Retek.
He joined the company with the objective of structuring the European organisation for growth and revitalising the business.
