Digi-Data's high-performance solutions protect large digital assets and are easily implemented by systems integrators

Digi-Data Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high performance storage systems and RAID controllers for large digital archives, utility storage and data protection, and Integrity Data Systems have partnered to sell Digi-Data's clustered storage systems to customers requiring large archival solutions Integrity Data Systems (IDS), headquartered in South Huntington, New York, focuses on both large and small SAN deployments nationwide

Most of these storage infrastructures are for customers in the digital media market, where achieving data rates capable of supporting multiple high definition (HD) clients is mandatory.

Customers who require large scale storage for data-intensive research applications benefit from Digi-Data's high performance where the storage system can be connected up to feed blade servers via InfiniBand or fibre channel.

"The staff at IDS has been serving the needs of these types of customers for over 25 years".

"Integrity is known for always providing a way to help customers get more capacity, superior functionality and the best performance".

"Digi-Data's T-2000 offers a very scaleable system with the ability to deliver service to HD clients at a cost-effective price," says Howard Solomon, president of Integrity Data Systems.

"With the ability to support up to 32 concurrent connections, the T-2000 gives us the bandwidth to meet the most demanding requirements and provide a solid solution".

Digi-Data's T-2000 is a scaleable, clustered RAID storage system used for rapid growth or high performance environments.

Up to four controllers can be clustered together to store up to 840 TB, with 32 FC ports.

"We're happy to partner with Integrity's team," says Tom Fabrizio, director of channel sales at Digi-Data.

"It's very beneficial to have strong partners, especially considering the unique storage challenges of our customers".

"By keeping pace with data growth driven by rich media applications and intensive research programs, Digi-Data is carefully evolving its channel, and listening intently to input from our customers and partners".

According to IDS, ten million terabytes of data will be shipped in 2010, partly due to a push by rich media and large content warehouses of various types.

"Working with our partners to deliver big, versatile and affordable storage systems helps our customers focus on their business or solving complex issues, versus getting bogged down in overcoming storage infrastructure challenges," explains Dennis Cindrich, president and CEO of Digi-Data.

Digi-Data's scaleable systems work very well with the massive digital content produced by video, music and graphic applications.

Digi-Data's high-performance solutions protect these large digital assets, and are easily implemented by systems integrators.

Broadcasting, publishing, video pre- and post-production, surveillance and many other applications require high performing and scaleable infrastructures.

Digi-Data cost-effectively meets performance, capacity and availability requirements for both customers and resellers.
