The competitive benefits of fast and accurate shop floor data management and recording will be highlighted by hardware and software solutions for manufacturing at MACH 2002.

The competitive benefits of fast and accurate shop floor data management and recording will be highlighted by DLoG's range of hardware and software solutions for manufacturing on Stand 4577 at MACH 2002 - which takes place at the NEC between 29th April - 3rd May The company's presentation of shopfloor technology will cover everything from simple DNC, to sophisticated production data management systems that can be developed into fully paperless manufacturing solutions

Also on show will be DLoG's Prisma machine monitoring and data collection package.

This not only enables key production performance parameters such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to be reported automatically, but also allows operators to book on and off specific jobs using simple touch-screen terminals - to provide manufacturers with a fully integrated shopfloor information system.

The sophisticated AutoTAS tool management system from Sandvik Coromant, which offers the ability to display tooling information and provide tool pre-setter links from a single system, will also be exhibited on DLoG's stand.

The company will also be working with another partner, Preactor International to demonstrate its well-known range of finite capacity scheduling software and advanced planning systems.

These fully integrate with DLoG's own solutions - to provide a system that allows operators to view a 'work to' list, highlight the selected job, and download the required production data.

In parallel, the system automatically records job progress and updates Preactor's in-built graphical planning board.

The latest additions to DLoG's range of hardware for shop floor, manufacturing and process industry operations will also be showcased at MACH 2002.

Highlighting the productivity, efficiency and time-to-market benefits of touch screen data transfer, collection and reporting, DLoG's new 15 inch flat-screen Industrial PC delivers 50 per cent more screen area than the standard 12.1 inch model.

With an XGA-resolution 1024 x 768 pixel display, the new IPC/15 is the ideal choice for paperless manufacturing environments.

An RF network version is also available for mobile use within warehousing and logistics industry applications.

The IPC/15's impact resistant ABS housing and sealed design allow it to withstand aggressive working environments and meet recognised industrial protection standards.

The unit's slimline display is complemented by a range of mounting options to suit restricted access applications.

In addition, an optional touch screen interface simplifies operation, enhances system security, and eliminates the need for external keyboards or mice - to ensure maximum operational flexibility and versatility.

With a UK user base exceeding 300 installed sites, the company has customers throughout the metalworking, manufacturing, assembly, warehousing and logistics sectors.
