Manufacturing module streamlines operations
Intelligent manufacturing module streamlines operations by collating and managing all types of manufacturing data; from product assembly, through sub-assemblies, to individual component parts.
The first of a new generation of software products developed under the Microsoft.NeT environment will be showcased by DLoG on booth E52 in Hall 15 at the forthcoming EMO Exhibition, which takes place in Hannover between 14th and 21st September.
The company's new DLoG Intelligent Manufacturing Module enables users to streamline their operations by collating and managing all types of manufacturing data; from a top level product assembly, through its various sub-assemblies, down to individual component parts.
DLoG IM allows documents to be linked to any level in the structure, giving production and manufacturing engineers a simple and effective method of managing the release of data to manufacturing areas.
It is particularly useful for maintaining close control of work issued to the shopfloor during engineering changes, by permitting operations to be run under supervisory authorisation or held on stop, as required.
DLoG uses its tried and trusted Tip interface for touch screen operation to deploy information to production staff, while operation of the new product is simplified through its conformance to Microsoft Windows 2003 user interface standards.
In addition, DLoG IM features customisable screen layouts and a configurable database; enabling users to define, update or amend fields to match their own specific data.
Other manufacturing technology to be highlighted by DLoG at EMO will be the company's established range of DNC systems, from simple data transfer solutions, through wireless DNC, to its top-of-the-range paperless production data management system.
Also on show will be DLoG's latest generation industrial PCs and wireless data collection terminals, which provide an integral part of its machine data acquisition system and shopfloor data collection solutions.
