By helping to deploy warehouse management systems, mobile terminals provide up to the minute information to forklift truck drivers on items to be picked

Shopfloor networking and hardware specialist DLoG UK will promote its X series range of vehicle mount and mobile terminals, including the new X10/X12, at IMHX the UK's largest materials handling, storage and logistics show, to be held at the NEC, Birmingham, 13-16 March 2007 The centrepiece of the DLoG stand will be an X10 terminal mounted on a Linde electric counterbalance truck to demonstrate its versatility within the logistics sector

By helping to deploy warehouse management systems, it provides up to the minute information to forklift truck drivers on items to be picked.

The X10/X12 harnesses the technology of DLoG's X7 CE device with a 7-inch QWVGA screen and extends the range to offer a 10 or 12in screen.

Based on the design of the highly successful and reliable XP-based MPC 6, the X10/X12 utilises Windows CE 5.0 and is equipped with an Intel PXA270 processor with a clock rate of up to 520MHz.

With protection class IP54/IP65 and excellent vibration/shock resilience, the TFT touchscreen terminal is suitable for all kinds of industrial and logistics operations.

Ruggedly built to withstand extremes of temperature (from -30 deg C up to +50 deg C), the X10/X12 operates as safely and reliably in a deep freeze environment as it will outside on a hot day.

"Our vehicle mount and mobile industrial terminals offer users significant performance-related benefits within warehouse and logistics operations," said DLoG UK director John Davis.

"Visitors to stand 20A90 will be able to check out the range of options available with the MPC and X series terminals that are key to the efficient day-to-day running of their business.".
