All D-Link's products sold to date can be upgraded to the final IEEE 802.11n standard via software upgrades
D-Link, the end-to-end networking solutions provider for consumers and business, announces the support of the IEEE 802.11n draft version 2.0 specifications by future firmware or driver update Version 2.0 of the 802.11n specification has been approved by the IEEE Working Group, moving the increasingly important new wireless technology a step closer to its standardisation which is anticipated in early 2008

The draft 2.0 approval guarantees that no further hardware changes will be required for the approval of the final standard.
This means all D-Link's products sold to date can be upgraded to the final standard via software upgrades.
Currently all of the D-Link Wireless N routers and clients are compliant with the 802.11n draft version 1.0 specification, and following the recent draft 2.0 approval, D-Link will aim to provide firmware upgrades in the near future to upgrade all products sold to date.
