3-D and 2-D files in over 100 different formats and Bill of Materials (BOM) available for download

DMS-Diemould is pleased to announce that customers can now download CAD files of DMS products simply by clicking on the "CAD download" button The system offers both 3-D and 2-D files in over 100 different formats and also incorporates a Bill of Materials (BOM) enabling customers to send it to us for a prompt quotation

The first products to be made available are:.

* DMS mould kits.

* DMS RAPIDbases.

* DMS pillars and bushes and other ancillaries.

* CUMSA products and mechanisms.

Over the next few months further products will be added to allow customers to design their moulds with the minimum of fuss.

Eventually there will be CAD files available for all DMS products so that everybody in the supply chain will be able to benefit from our cost saving ideas - whether they are designers, toolmakers or processors.

One of the first users of the system was Steve Marven of Tamworth-based Marven Mould Design, providers of specialist mould design services to toolmakers, plastic moulders and diecasting foundries throughout the UK.

Steve was enthusiastic about the new web capability, "We have already used it to download pillars and bushes, and also some bolsters".

"It is very simple and quick to use, you just select the components you want and they arrive in an email".

"One of the big benefits of the system is that when you download a component, you get 100% of the information ready to place on your drawing - not only saving time, but increasing precision too".
