German group to show 44 machine tools
In Hall 2, at EMO 2005, DMG will present 44 high-tech machines, of which 19 were developed in 2005 and six of them being world premiers, forming the largest display.

Also included are the new vertical centers of the DMC V Generation, the expansion stages of universal and vertical turning, as well as the new developments in the multi-spindle and production Turning industry.
In addition to that impressive line-up, there is the introduction to the Ultrasonic 20, which opens up new and impressive possibilities of ultrasonic machining technology, especially in the area of small and particularly high precision tools.
This year, a total of 19 new developments will have been presented at open houses and trade shows.
Among the highlights from the first half of the year was the introduction of the duoBLOCK design, which was the future-oriented platform for a number of universal machines and horizontal machining centers.
Other highlights were the new monoBLOCK machines, the DMU 50 eVo linear and the outstanding consolidation in the area of turning/milling centers and double spindles.
Parallel to this impressive machine presentation, DMG is devoted to training and continued education, because being number one in machine tool manufacturing can only be achieved with the efficient cooperation of highly qualified employees.
Supported by the DMG Training Academy, VDW will organise another special show for young people this year, under the motto 'Machine Manufacturer - A Job with Power'.
Students and high school teachers of natural sciences, as well as those in vocational and technical schools, can be fascinated and inspired by 600 square meters of machine tool manufacturing.
Highlights of the special show are turning, milling and laser machines in action, intelligent robots as well as VIP discussions with prominent politicians and economists.
