Mill/turn centre with linear motor drives on three axes can perform simultaneous machining with three independent tools and has 36 driven tools on the Y- and C-axes.

After machining, the counter spindle transports the part out of the working space, allowing further reductions in idle time and ultimately, unit time.
To minimise downtime, the next bar length is simultaneously fed in as the finish part is ejected.
A conveyor belt handling system is provided as standard with this machine.
Designed to be employed as either a bar or chucking automatic, the Sprint 65 linear can be specified with either a Fanuc 310 i-A control or a Siemens 840D powerline control.
Both complement the speed and precision of this machine with their fast processing times and high data transfer rates.
DMG Programmer 3D Turning software gives the user access to a unique programming and simulation tool that eliminates the collisions arising from programming errors.
Further options include tool wear control and a parallel tool system to boost productivity even further.
