CNC miller-drillers cut 20% off machining times
With the highly productive DMU 50 / 70 eVolution, DMG has added a new dimension to universal milling and drilling machines designed to save up to 20% on machining times.
The company demonstrated no less than 65 different models from its turning, milling, laser and ultrasonic ranges.
Nine of these were receiving their world premiere.
If any justification were needed for this tour de force one only need look at the post-show statistics.
During the week long exhibition the Group sold 451 machines valued at EUR 87.4m.
It is the highest order intake that Gildemeister has ever recorded at a trade fair and eight of these machines are destined for companies in the UK.
Just as important though are the follow-up quotations.
The Group is currently processing 8,532 quotation requests received at the show, a statistic that certainly augurs well for further business growth.
