DMG (UK) achieved its targets for MACH 2006 with an increase of visiting companies onto the stand from MACH 2004 Remarkably DMG also generated over 60% more new machine quotations than in 2004: a total of 141 new quotes have been processed with the most interest being on DMG's most popular, and recently upgraded simultaneous 5-axis machining centre - the DMU50ev linear

Tim Hately, DMG's managing director stated: "We not only managed to achieve our own target of increasing visitors to our stand, and generating a good level of enquiries, we also took orders for eight machines during the MACH week valued at EUR 2,7 million.

We have a large amount of new stock in the UK at the moment, and being able to deliver immediately is a great advantage." He added: "DMG's entry level lathes and mills are gaining in interest and from the orders we have received with the CTX10 line of lathes, and our DMC V vertical range it demonstrates that we are also very competitively priced.".
