Economical electric lifting cylinders
save space
The cost of additional gearing and maintenance are avoided by using powerful, dynamic and compact electric lifting cylinders, which give direct response and precision.
Danaher Motion has introduced its MA900 series of powerful, dynamic and compact electric lifting cylinders In the lift cylinder design, the nut is directly integrated into the servo motor

Linear guides combine precision and longevity
Miniature linear guides that offer high accuracy and longevity in order to enhance production efficiency provide extremely smooth, 'whisper quiet', single rail operation.
Self lubricating ball screws break 20,000h barrier
A self lubricating ball screw has been successfully tested for over 20000 hours continuous operation.
So it avoids the cost of additional gearing and maintenance.
The MA900 Series electric lifting cylinders take up less space, are easier to fit and the dynamic response and precision of the movement increases as there is no additional backlash.
Danaher told manufacturingtalk.com that users can also benefit from a virtually unlimited lift.
Lift is only restricted only by the length of the screw.
Only low level of lubrication is required, said Danaher.
Depending on the screw lead - users can choose from 10, 20 or 40mm.
The MA900 series offers a peak thrust of 65,000N and a peak speed of 240cm/s.
Danaher said these features make them suitable for a wide variety of high-performance applications, including those in which pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders would have normally been used.
They are also ideal for applications with long travel paths.
With a continuous torque of 55Nm, the continuous thrust of the new models is between 7,775N and 31,100N.
A rotary absolute encoder is used to determine the position, so positioning is accurate to 0.05mm.
Without the screw, the direct-drive cylinders measure just 28 x 23 x 57cm.
Special axle bearings offer protection against dust and water spray in accordance with protection standard IP65.
