Other members of the Donaldson Membranes team will be ready to greet customers at Techtextil and guide them through the range of Tetratex ePTFE products.
Donaldson Membranes' Tetratex ePTFE membrane filter media have a proven track record as very high efficiency, highly effective fabrics.
The membrane is manufactured from 100 percent PTFE polymer resin.
Tetratex is dimensionally and chemically stable in almost any environment ranging from -270C to +260C.
Whilst it is extremely water repellent, the membrane still allows air and moisture vapour to permeate, resulting in an extraordinarily hydrophobic and breathable fabrics.
These properties enable ePTFE products to solve problems in many critical applications, including: healthcare; laboratory equipment; vent filter and breathers; crystal wrap and microfiltration.
For markets including: cement, plastics, pharmaceutical, incineration, non-metallic, metallurgical and fine chemicals, products are designed to vastly improve the performance of traditional filter fabrics which rely on the formation of a surface filter cake to capture fine dust particles.
Visitors to Donaldson Membranes' stand will discover how Tetratex delivers high particulate capture rates, excellent dust cake release, extended filter life and energy savings.
With emissions of pollutants into the environment and the workplace subject to ever more stringent legislative control, dust and fumes, toxic or not, must be removed from exhaust air flows.
In addition, the solid particulate carried in the gas or liquid flow sometimes represents a useful or valuable product, which must be efficiently separated or filtered for final use or further processing.
The best control technology available to achieve these aims through the capture of fine particulate is recognised as fabric filter media utilising ePTFE membranes.
Industrial Filtration Fabrics are available in a wide range of colours and weights, from less than 50g/m to over 300g/m.
