DP will present updated Esprit at Houstex

DP Technology will showcase the Esprit 2009 at Houstex, in Houston, Texas, from 24-26 February 2009.

For the 2009 version of Esprit, DP Technology has added twenty-two five-axis machining strategies to the existing five-axis functionalities, an upgrade that results in greater machining flexibility and improved cycle times.

The free-form five-axis composite machining cycle allows users to independently define machining patterns and tool-orientation strategies to create simultaneous five-axis toolpaths.

Esprit 2009 includes 20 different machining strategies (cycles) in one.

These upgrades increase the quality and speed-up the production of part programs, helping to reduce machining cycle times.
