A DP Technology product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Mar 24, 2009

Esprit 2009, created by DP Technology, will be on display in Tokyo, Japan, from 8-11 April, when the latest version of the software will be exhibited at Intermold 2009.

Intermold participants can visit the Esprit booth where representatives will explain the latest upgrades and perform demonstrations of the software.

A total of 22 five-axis machining strategies have been added to the existing five-axis functionalities within Esprit Mold, an upgrade designed for greater machining flexibility and improved cycle times.

The Freeform five-axis composite machining cycle allows users to independently define machining patterns and tool orientation strategies to be used for creating simultaneous five-axis toolpaths, and includes 20 different machining strategies (cycles) in one.

The Esprit composite machining cycle gives users the ability to perform simultaneous five-axis machining for a wide variety of different parts and industries - including the aerospace, medical and automotive sectors - with one simple user interface.
