Rapak Pioneers bag in box for beer
Working in partnership with Bavarian brewer Ankerbrau, from Nordlingen, Rapak has pioneered an innovative Bag-in-Box system for the beer market.
It chose litho-printed PP, as it offered the high quality graphics of a board carton, yet provided transparency for the product.
On Air-Pillo Gel insoles, the pack features several unprinted oval areas, one of which is a cut-out window to allow the consumer to feel the cushioning, and a printed board template is included to allow the consumer to cut the sole to the correct size.
Similarly, the pack for Party Feet (washable, re-usable inserts to be used with high heeled shoes) comprises a slim, re-sealable wallet which can be slipped into pockets or evening bags.
The packs can all be hung on euro slots and, in the case of the Air-Pillo Gel insoles pack, tabbed feet are incorporated into the base to provide a stable surface for shelf standing.
