Common DC electric controller manages fastening
The latest upgrade in a family of fastening products provides a common DC electric controller that has been developed as a result of collaboration with key customers across Europe.
This is due to the revolutionary new low pressure side air exhaust system, so unlike most conventional tools the exhaust air is not removed through the operators handle, making the grip of the Tornado more than three times warmer than existing tools in the market!.
It also has a further number of ergonomic features that provide benefits: * Single stage turbine motor equalling reduced maintenance costs and 'downtime'.
* Vibration Dampened side handle increasing operator comfort and productivity.
* Heavy duty wheel guard for increased operator safety.
* Ergonomic air inlet handle to optimise operator comfort.
The tools are currently available in two options.
The KA20120H5 has a 5 in capacity and the KA20085H7 a 7 in capacity.
Both tools have the powerful 2kW turbine motor.
" If you spend just 10 minutes with the new tornado tool, you could never go back to using a conventional tool," commented Jess Lawrence, the application specialist manager for Desoutter in the UK.
"And with health and safety top of everybody's agenda the warmth in the handle greatly reduces the risk of vibration and temperature induced implications to the operators".
The tool is further complemented by the range of products from Desoutter's alliance partners in the UK.
The tornado tool is best used with abrasive accessories from 3M especially the new Green Corps range.
For the total ergonomic working environment where dust extraction is required the tool is perfectly complemented by the Nederman range of extraction systems.
