Tube rolling process/simulation software updated
Latest versions of tube roll design- and process simulation software support the automatic design and analysis of four-roll fin passes, five-roll welding passes and longitudinally welded tubes.
On this occasion data M Software is organising a roll forming seminar and user meeting on May 22nd and 23rd, 2007.
In addition to the presentation of our new COPRA RF 2007 software release on the first afternoon of this event there will be a conference / user meeting on the second day.
Both days are dedicated to the decision makers of companies being involved in the roll forming industry (also welded tubes) as well as design- and production engineers.
Roll forming has been changing drastically in the past few years and the variety of roll formed shapes has been increasing as well as the materials being used (e g, high strength material).
There have also been some interesting developments with regard to the so-called flexible (or CNC-controlled) roll forming - an interesting and cost efficient alternative to press formed parts in the automotive industry.
These and other topics will be covered on May 22nd and 23rd at data M's office and on top of the nearby mount Wendelstein, Germany.
On day three and four (May 24th and 25th) there will be an update training for our COPRA RF users and a workshop on Finite Elemente Analysis of the roll forming process.
