Milling and drill small parts at high
speeds
Conventional CNC machining is not always the most economic solution when milling small parts in batch production, which is why a modular 'in-line' CNC machining system has been developed.
Conventional CNC machining techniques are not always the most economic solution when milling small parts in batch production Based on the market's increasing demands for customised and thus highly effective CNC solutions, Datron have developed the machining system M10 ("In-Line")

The Datron high-tech CNC machining modules now offer a cost-effective "'off-the-rack' special purpose machine".
Machining and positioning axes of customer-specific lengths are combined with high-speed positioning heads.
Together with Datron's module clamping technique these CNC machining cells guarantee highest efficiency, especially when milling small parts.
Working areas of 240mm (in Z direction), a machining width of 150mm and a customer-specific machining length of 240mm to 2800mm are available.
The machine can therefore be used for machining small parts and for milling and drilling, for instance, long aluminium profiles.
Due to its modular design, Datron can offer standard solutions with integrated protective cover as well as customer-specific axis configurations with several machining spindles.
Depending on the machining tasks, the machines are equipped with machining spindles with power up to 2kW and speed up to 60,000 rpm, automatic tool changer, manual or automatic clamping systems or also supplementary CNC rotary axes.
As the powerful CNC control works under Windows, it is possible to accept external CAD/CAM data and integrate further automation tasks without any problems.
The areas of application for Datron's flexible CNC manufacturing cells are aluminium profile machining and general CNC machining of aluminium and plastic parts.
Thanks to the modular configuration of the mechanical system, Datron can offer "tailor-made" solutions.
Consequently, production costs can be reduced considerably, especially for large batch production.
