Lewis organised the registration process for two BSI management systems, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:1996.
In late January 2003, an intensive registration audit was conducted and full registration compliance was issued on February 20th 2003 with the official presentation held on the 16th May.
According to Datum Alloys Managing Director Ben Scott, "Our dedicated workforce, has always been totally committed to quality and it is the key to our long term success.
through working with BSI, Datum Alloys is delighted to be able to offer our customers not only superior quality in alloys and service, but a service recognised by a world class quality management system." The company has also implemented a quality manual for BSI EN ISO 14001:1996 in preparation for achieving the environmental standard and is in the final stages of completion.
