Kaizen save cash at Ditone
Ditone Labels, the innovative labelling company, has implemented the Kaizen theory of manufacturing at their Cambridgeshire factory resulting in huge savings month on month.
Kaizen, which means continuous improvement, is a method of identifying ways in which efficiency can be improved and waste eliminated in order to save money Kaizen has worked so well for Ditone due to its inclusive nature, in which anyone in the company can have a say in how it works

Suggestions are put to a committee who then discuss the feasibility as well as its potential saving to the company, before applying it.
Ditone has made significant savings using Kaizen in both the manufacturing and purchasing departments of the company by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, and finding ways to turn this into a profit for the company.
This has been especially effective with the factory overs, which have been categorised in order to capitalise upon them.
