Colruyt, a leading Belgium company has acquired 100% shares of the Dimaco Group both in Belgium and in the UK Colruyt is one of the largest Companies in Belgium, which consists of some 70 groups

They have a strong reputation in Benelux and France for their High Street Supermarkets, other stores and IT related businesses.

They are listed on the Belgium stock exchange, and their turnover last year was approximately 5 billion Euros.

Mr Chris Vleeschouwers of Createch Engineering NV will now manage the Dimaco Group.

Createch is wholly owned by the Colruyt group, and is one of the emerging turnkey automation and specialist machines companies for the packaging industry in Europe and is based in Brussels.

The combination of market leading brands of Dimaco products and the excellent reputation of Createch's expertise in robotics, pick and place and the design of special machines, provides the new group with a formidable foundation.

This will contribute towards fulfilling Createch's strategy of becoming a key global manufacturer and supplier of end of line packaging machinery and quality control systems.

It will also allow us to offer a complete one stop solution for label/product verification, pick and place and end of line packaging.

The principal benefits to you will be very quick return of your investment, consistent enhancement of product quality and general improvement of line efficiency.

We at Dimaco are extremely excited and confident that this new investment coupled with the state of the art manufacturing facility of Createch Engineering will provide us with the base to allow us to grow to our full potential.

In the short term, we envisage that Dimaco will increase its sales, service and support teams to meet the growing demands of the customer.

This will also allow Dimaco to fulfil the requirements of our international customers throughout Europe.

Createch are also committed to enhancing the existing Dimaco products as well as developing new applications in the fresh food and beverage markets to meet the stringent demands of our customers, supermarkets and regulators.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued interest and support for Dimaco products and services.
