Nesting module enables individual CNC oxy-fuel gas, plasma arc or laser cutting and marking programs to be created even more quickly and easily and provides material savings of up to 7%.

ESAB Automation's Colombus programming system was introduced to make profile cutting processes simple, efficient and cost-effective Now, individual cutting and marking programs can be created even more quickly and easily with a new Colombus nesting module

This enables material savings of up to 7% to be made and, as a result, significantly less pallet handling requirements and lower unit costs.

With this new nesting system, can be used when undertaking plasma, oxygen or laser cutting.

Colombus is a flexible tool which enables the user to create NC cutting programs easily.

It supports ESAB machines for all cutting and marking processes.

It can be integrated in existing EDP structures easily, enabling, for example, quick import and export of existing parts lists, geometrical and calculation data.

Thanks to its modular design, Colombus does not have to be purchased the complete package and specific software modules can be selected.

In this way, the initial costs are reduced and the system can be adapted to changing requirements at any time.
