ESAB Cutting Systems' brochure describes the Falcon low cost cutting machine that can be fitted with oxy-fuel gas cutting torches or can be supplied as an oxy-fuel package ready for plasma-arc work.
All mechanical bearings, control panels, co-ordinate drive mechanisms, cutters, posts and gas hoses have been replaced and ESAB's proven and easy to use NCE 510 CNC control has been retrofitted.
The result is an advanced precision plasma cutting machine which is available at a much lower initial cost than a brand new machine.
The refurbished Suprarex SXE-P is a single headed plasma machine using a MAX 200 plasma system.
It has a 3m x 6m extendable cutting table.
Cutting and positioning speeds are up to 2400m/min and collision protection is included on the plasma torch to avoid damage.
Automatic height sensing is also included.
Materials from 1 - 40mm can be cut to an extremely high quality and high accuracy thanks to the high build quality of the machine, including its rugged machined portal beam, double side rack and pinion longitudinal drive, rack and pinion transverse drive.
