Modular cutting tables for cutting metals up to 300mm thick or 3000mm x 6000mm, are included in a range of peripheral accessories described in recent ESAB literature.
ESAB Cutting Systems' concept of 'The Periphery for Perfect Cutting' brings together all ESAB technology designed to support the company's range of oxy-fuel gas, plasma-arc and laser cutting machines.
ESAB Cutting Systems' periphery equipment includes the following.
* Cutting tables.
* Air filter systems.
* Heat recovery systems.
The modular cutting tables can be customised to integrate into any production environment.
Tables accommodate materials up to 300mm thick or 3000mm width x 6000mm length for cutting.
There are also water tables for underwater cutting.
Exchange table and pallet replacement system tables nable fast loading and unloading of sheets, saving valuable promotion time, said ESAB.
* Dust and smoke retraction systems - dust and smoke retraction systems have purpose-designed suction ducts, which ensure the maintaining of fresh air during the cutting process.
These systems operate with high efficiency levels and low noise, claimed ESAB.
Filter systems counteract fine dust, protect operators and support companies in complying with all statutory regulations.
ESAB systems for health protection and environment management are certified to ISO 14001.
* heat recovery - high efficiency rotation heat exchanges recover heated air extracted from the cutting process and achieve some 80% efficiency.
ESAB told manufacturingtalk that its heat recovery systems require minimal maintenance and their investment payback times are short.
