Customisable keypads have high
functionality

A fully customisable keypad is available in either a 12 or 16 key format and with a choice of four different legend sheets. Customisable legends are also available.

EAO, the expert in Human Machine Interfaces is pleased to offer a new addition to its portfolio of low cost, high functionality, easily installed keypads, manufactured by switch and control specialist Grayhill, The proven, backlit and water resistant Series 84B keypad is fully customisable and is suitable for challenging environments The Series 84B offers maximum flexibility in terms of customisation

The keypad is available in either a 12 or 16 key format and with a choice of four different legend sheets.

If the application necessitates, customisable legends are available on request.

Designed and manufactured from waterproof silicone rubber, which is bonded to a PCB.

By using metal domes, the Series 84B delivers superior tactile feedback as well as a reassuring audible click of the dome contact when actuated.

The keypad is also available with the option of RFI/EMI shielding.

Available with a choice of red, yellow, green or orange illumination, and environmentally sealed and protected to IP67, this keypad is ideal for harsh or dirty environments where liquid or other contaminants may be present.

Ultra-reliable, the dome and printed circuit board system of the Series 84B have been tested and rated to three million cycles.
