Touch keypads work in harsh conditions

A special 'double glazed' version of a touch sensitive keypad range is designed for ultra cold or aggressive environments, while legends can be customised to suit.

EAO, the expert in human machine interfaces is delighted to announce the launch of its upgraded Touch Sensitive Keypad range, featuring major functional and technical developments, demonstrating EAO's commitment to providing superior ergonomic solutions for aggressive environments EAO's new TSK12 and TSK16 touch sensitive keypads (12 and 16 keys are standard, other number of keys available on request) will be compelling to new and existing customers alike

Cost effective and user friendly, the ranges are delivered with a kit for easy mounting behind glass, plexiglass, polycarbonate and all non-conductive materials.

For ultra cold and aggressive environments EAO also offers a special 'double glazed' version of the keypad.

EAO's TSK12 and TSK16 touch sensitive keypads are unrivalled in terms of their ergonomic functionality.

Legends can be customised to suit, sensitivity easily adjusted, and a reassuring audible bleep is also offered when keys are pressed.

The TSK12 and TSK16 keypads are available with PS2, USB and Matrix interfaces, amongst others available upon request.

They are compatible with most operating systems on the market including: Win98 SE, ME, 2000 Pro pack II, XP, Linux.

EAO's TSK12 and TSK16 keypads deliver resistance against harsh environments that may be polluted by dust, grease or ink particles suspended in the air, such as printing environments.

They are also ideally suited to sterile environments cleaned using ultrasonic techniques, i.e medical equipment, hygienic environments cleaned using high-pressure washing, i.e food packaging equipment, explosive atmospheres, which must be free of contacts and electrostatic discharge.
