Stepper motors deliver 50% more torque

Latest 0.9 deg two-phase stepper motor delivers 50% more torque with double the resolution of similar 1.8 deg motors and feature a substantial reduction in noise and vibration.

Sanyo Denki's new 0.9 deg two-phase stepper motor delivers 50% more torque with double the resolution of similar 1.8 deg motors, says EAO - the UK representative for Sanyo Denki Called the Sanmotion F Series, it achieves a holding torque of 0.2Nm to 0.39Nm minimum through a superior motor design

This also results in a 20% reduction in electrical loss and a substantial reduction in noise and vibration, which makes a significant contribution to reducing the total audible volume of an end product.

Available in the NEMA 42 (42mm) frame size in three body lengths, the Sanmotion F Series is ideally suited for semiconductor production devices, printing machines, optical measuring and laboratory instruments, surveillance equipment, medical apparatus, and instruments.

All Sanyo Denki products are designed for high-reliability and a long service life to reduce machine downtime.

This new stepper motor has also been manufactured to meet the latest European RoHS directive.
