EAO has announced the space-efficient, lightweight Sanmotion F series of stepper motors with internal drivers incorporating motion control function.

EAO , a market leading switch manufacturer and UK representative of Sanyo Denki, has announced the space-efficient, lightweight Sanmotion F Series of stepper motors with internal drivers.

The integration into a single unit of a driver incorporating motion control function with a two phase 0.9deg stepping motor, delivers benefits including reduced and simplified wiring together with easy, compact installation.

Microstep driver technology delivers ultra-smooth, high-resolution motion for high precision measurement tasks.

A selection function matches a choice of operation modes to a specific application.

These include: Control by command pulses, Program control by general-purpose I/O with up to 16 resolution types, Controls by serial communication.

The Sanmotion F Series with internal drivers is compliant with RS-485 protocol, delivering half-duplex a-synchronous communication capability, a communication speed of 9600/38400 bps, and a maximum command pulse of 300 kpps.

The Sanmotion F Series with Internal Drivers is the complete stepper motor solution.

The product is available in two sizes: 42mm and 60mm (56mm compatible) square installation flanges.

The integrated driver unit is ideal for applications including semiconductor manufacturing equipment, medical and laboratory instruments, pcb production machines, surveillance cameras as well as initial evaluation studies of stepper motor technology.
