Filtration using whole oils at competitive prices

An Ecofluide product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Aug 3, 2006

Industrial filtration using whole oils is cleaner for the environment at similar prices to those installations with added products and use regenerative cartridges, valid for large flows.

Ecofluide proposes industrial filtration installations using whole oils which are cleaner for the environment at similar prices to those installations with added products.

Ecofluide, specialist in filtration (emulsions and whole oils) and in the reprocessing of used coolants for the car industry makes innovations in this technology.

"We create new installations which replace the expensive current filtration installations that use polluting added products" said Pascal Milliot, president of Ecofluide.

These filtration methods, known as regenerative cartridges, valid for large flows, enables to abolish filtering added products or additives which are considered a health hazard and are more and more prohibited on production sites by the Occupational Medicine.

The additional asset of this filtration is financial.

It is no longer necessary to use added products and thus gives Ecofluide an asserted competitiveness.

* Reduced maintenance - this type of filtration installation exists now for eight years and functions perfectly well.

One of their customers in Europe, Francaise de Mecanique, have three types of these installations and are satisfied with the results yet their motivation was not from a budgetary point of view.

Today the industry market is different since the price of a filtration installation using regenerative cartridges is the same as that of an installation using added products or additives.

The exploitation cost is less.

The cartridges are changed, at the very least, every two years, a period of which no other intervention is necessary.

Ecofluide's filtration installations can function daily: "We have proved that the exploitation cost of our new installations is more profitable than that of an installation with cellulose or diatomite powder for the same quality of filtration", said Milliot.
