Enabling safety switch has bus support
Among a range of safety switches with bus support is an enabling switch with two additional buttons that can be programmed and the switch is very economical on scarce address space.
Euchner is continuously expanding its range of safety switches with bus support and, at this year's MACH Exhibition, is again presenting a large number of new products that can be used directly on AS-Interface Safety at Work.
Worthy of special mentions is the new enabling switch ZSB AS-Interface.
This switch not only has an integrated enabling function, but also two additional buttons.
The switch is based on the proven three-stage version of the Euchner ZSB enabling switch.
The function of the two additional buttons can be programmed as required in the control system.
The new ZSB AS-Interface requires just one address on the bus and is therefore very economical on scarce address space.
Furthermore, a large number of drives are now available for NZ safety switches with safety function.
The NZ AS-Interface with roller plunger has already been on the market for a year; various lever arms and domed plungers are also now available.
The NZ series safety switches feature a very robust design and are already extensively proven in a very wide range of applications.
The AS-Interface version switches each require one AS-Interface address and have the familiar Euchner AS-Interface 'four-eyes face' on the front.
A switch with escape release has also been added to the proven Euchner TX series, which also features AS-Interface integration.
A safety guard can be opened from inside the machine using the escape release.
A person locked in can then escape from the danger area even if the guard is locked.
The switch functions are the same as those of the familiar TX AS-Interface switch.
Matching this switch, the NX without guard locking is also available.
All switches described are available immediately.
Euchner is continuously expanding and making additions to the AS-Interface range.
As a result almost all Euchner switch designs are now available with an integrated bus connection.
