Electro-Sensors has introduced the SpeedTalker DN-BH, the latest addition to its SpeedTalker range of shaft speed sensors.
Also, Electro-Guard utilises standard 4-20mA signals, as opposed to proprietary software or "black boxes" which can be limiting or challenging to support.
"Electro-Guard provides a robust, cost-effective, reliable monitoring solution for elevator or conveyed material applications," said Brad Slye, engineering manager.
Electro-Guard is available as a complete system or as individual components.
With the TT420F or TT420S for belt alignment temperature measurement, the TT420Z for bearing temperature measurement and the FB420 to offer shaft speed feedback, Electro-Guard is an easy to use, dependable way to safeguard conveyed material operations.
The TT420F is a 2-wire loop-powered 4-20mA temperature transmitter for belt alignment temperature measurement.
This component mounts onto the rear surface of any brass rub-block and requires no end-user calibration.
The TT420S offers identical functionality but screws into the rear of any brass rub-block with a 1/4" - 28 tap.
The TT420Z, used for bearing temperature measurement, is a 2-wire loop-powered 4-20mA temperature transmitter than mounts into standard 1/8" or 1/4" grease fitting (Zerk) taps.
This component is also ready to use and requires no end-user calibration.
The FB420 is a shaft speed feedback sensor that mounts onto the elevator tail pulley to measure shaft speed and outputs a 4-20mA signal across the RPM range of the shaft.
It also has two programmable relay functions and is housed in a rugged, XP housing.
The FB420 is ready to use, requiring minimal end-user calibration.
Electro-Guard and its components are straightforward to install, ready to use, and compatible with standard PLCs, meters and data acquisition systems.
