EDV Packaging has developed a new container to package food products
EDV Packaging has developed the PP/EVOH/PP transparent cup that has brought success to the range of spreads of Productos Mediterraneos Belchi Salas, S.L., marketed under the brand VillaOlivo The range of flavours -from Green and Black Olive pates to almonds, chickpeas with sesame as well as fish pates- was first introduced to the market in March 2006 and has had very good acceptance among consumers since their initial launch

Thanks to the high resistance polypropylene based, five-layer structure such properties as barrier to oxygen, to moisture and to UV light are totally guaranteed.
When storing the product at ambient temperature, its preservation can be extended to 12 months after the packaging date.
Moreover, the cup can be microwaved.
The cup has been hermetically sealed using a transparent plastic film.
It has been decorated with a translucent injected rigid overcap which allows recloseability and storage.
The presentation is completed with an attractive high quality carton pack.
All together, the pack has a significant on-shelf presence and is eye-catching to consumers.
