Edmund Optics has announced an expanded commitment to designing and manufacturing laser grade optical components targeting the demands of researchers and OEMs.

Edmund Optics has announced an expanded commitment to designing and manufacturing laser grade optical components targeting the demands of researchers and OEMs in the biomedical, semiconductor, and spectroscopy markets.

With recent NEW product launches in beamsplitters, windows, and mirrors, Edmund boasts a comprehensive selection of components capable of withstanding the challenges posed by today's advanced Nd:YAG, Excimer, Argon-Ion, and semiconductor laser sources.

A new family of low autofluorescence non-polarizing plate beamsplitters, featuring coatings designed for Nd:YAG and Argon-Ion sources, complements EO's existing line of low and high power polarizing cubes.

The launch of high damage threshold V-coated windows rounds out the existing families of fused silica, sapphire, and crystalline components.

Edmund has also greatly expanded its selection of laser mirrors, including coatings designed for laser line and broadband sources in the UV, visible, and NIR.

According to Gregg Fales, Product Manager, "Our comprehensive line of laser components and team of experienced engineers ensures that EO has the products and technical expertise to meet your laser optics needs.".
