Dual wavelength infrared refrigerant gas sensors
Edinburgh Instruments is manufacturing in the UK a new range of high performance low cost dual wavelength infrared refrigerant gas sensors.
Edinburgh Instruments is manufacturing in the UK a new range of high performance low cost dual wavelength infrared refrigerant gas sensors.
Designated the Chillcard 11 range they are designed to be integrated into a wide range of monitoring systems and employed in refrigeration plants where rapid, accurate and reliable detection and measurement of HCFC / HFC refrigerant gas concentrations are required.
This versatile range uses a rugged infrared source to ensure a long lifetime, minimum maintenance and reduced susceptibility to shock.
Measuring 100 x 160 x 40mm (eurocard format) and weighing only 0.3Kg these products are ideal for integration in a wide variety of enclosures.
The operating temperature is 0 to 45 degrees C, with power requirement of 24V DC (18-30V) and power consumption of 6 watts maximum.
Available to detect a wide range of refrigerants these units can detect gases from sampling points up to 30 metre away using the optional sampling pump.
Optional extras include 4-digit LCDs, DC pumps and RS232 interface adapters for advanced output signal processing.
Edinburgh Instruments can also design and manufacture variants of the chillcard range to customer requirements.
These innovative products have many applications in the foodstorage, refrigeration and process control industries.
