Paragon Labels, the UK's largest label manufacturer has taken delivery of its third Edale Alpha flexo press within 18 months of receiving its first machine.

Paragon Labels, the UK's largest label manufacturer has taken delivery of its third Edale Alpha flexo press within 18 months of receiving its first machine.

Initially chosen after a demonstration at Edale's Romsey (UK) showroom, the Alpha was described as "easy to operate, flexible and ideal for specific work" by Paragon's operations director, Dennis Patterson.

The Paragon group, which currently operates from six manufacturing sites in the UK, was originally attracted to the Alpha's compact size and print quality.

However, over the last 18 months the press has proved that it offers more in terms of reliability and compatibility, said Edale.

"We plan for commonality across all our sites in order to achieve total flexibility and consistency.

The Alpha presses complement our already established machinery base perfectly.

Available with up to five colours and a wide range of options normally only found on expensive modular machines, the Alpha ensures consistently high quality," said Patterson.
