After a successful LabelExpo Edale has much to be pleased about.

Showcasing their groundbreaking Lambda concept; launching it into the US, and driving full force with their new American division With their prime stand location they received a steady flow of visitors and both the Lambda and the ever-popular Alpha received a huge volume of interest

Edale have developed a range of typical Lambda offline solutions.

These include an offline RFID and inlay insertion solution combined with the renowned Tamarack P500 RFID technology.

This provides a cost effective and entirely adaptable solution which was in operation at the Expo.

The Lambda can be configured to any single or multiple web paths imaginable, thus enabling the running of multiple jobs simultaneously.

Exceptional throughput is achieved through the combination of high production speeds, short job change times and ease of use.

As a result investment risk is minimised.

"People lined up in the aisles to watch the Lambda insert RFID inlays".

"Once they learned of the versatility of the Lambda, ideas for a multitude of projects came to mind".

"Visitors left knowing the Lambda can fulfill many needs, and gives them the ultimate in creativity for their projects without locking them into a long term press arrangement," explains Karl Schmucker, Edale America's President.

The Lambda actually proved so popular that it has stayed behind in America at Tamarck to allow for further live demonstrations.

The Alpha, not to be forgotten, has remained Edale's best selling machine, and it's not difficult to see why.

The Alpha is the press of choice for a range of reasons including down-loading larger presses, replacing older machines, new label start-up and diversifying from sheet offset".

""Without another press in the four to five-color range that can do short run/quick changeover work, being built for the North American market, the Alpha amazed people".

"Compliments on its small footprint, high quality print, and quick change technology, were added as visitors learned about the quality built in each Edale press," says Karl.

He goes on to say that the warranty period also attracted a lot of attention, "as one visitor said 'you don't put a three year warranty on something that has a questionable quality background'." The show proved that there is indeed a market for Edale machinery in America.

With sales, service, support and parts all available on their home ground there is no reason why Edale shouldn't see the success in the states it has experienced in the rest of the World.
