The Jury for the EFQM Excellence Award has just completed its deliberations to decide this year's Finalists.

The Jury for the EFQM Excellence Award has just completed its deliberations to decide this year's Finalists.

These Finalists are a representation of Europe's best performing companies and not-for-profit organisations.

They demonstrate strong leadership and achieve superior results as confirmed by an international team of Excellence Award Assessors.

These organisations have embedded the principles of business excellence across their organisation as demonstrated in the way they interact with their customers, motivate their people, implement strategy and attain sustainable business results.

As such, these 27 Finalists are European role model organisations and are key contenders in their marketplace.

The following list includes the complete list of Finalists competing to win the EFQM Excellence Award.

The trophies for the Award are based on the organisations' size and scope; therefore, not all of these organisations are competing against each other.

The EFQM Excellence Award Winners, along with special Prizes for specific areas of their business, will be announced on 7 November at the annual EFQM Forum taking place in 2006 in Budapest.
