Elumatec welders double MB Frames' production

An Elumatec UK product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Sep 1, 2008

Deceuninck fabricator, MB Frames, has more than doubled its production capability after buying three welding and cutting machines from Elumatec.

The new machines are: a VS704THV, to help produce more welded frames; a VSM 30/19 CS Quad welder to assist in welding more window and door sashes; and a SBZ615 profile cutting machining centre that enables operatives to cut and prep 6m bar lengths in one process.

Paul Young, business development manager for MB Frames, said: 'The optimisation is greater and the processing speed far outweighs our existing machinery and can be operated by one man if need be.

'Production capability has more than doubled to 1,500 units per week.'.
