A simple and economical closure torque testing device is for applications within closure manufacturing facilities, bottling plants, food and beverage companies and testing laboratories.

Mark-10 introduces their new Series CT Closure Torque Testers, a simple and economical solution for applications within closure manufacturing facilities, bottling plants, food and beverage companies, testing laboratories, and others.

The tester features a solid aluminum housing and rugged construction for many years of service in laboratory or production environments.

Adjustable posts effectively grip a broad range of container shapes and sizes, while a set of optional jaws are available as an alternative gripping method.

An integrated indicator displays peak torque in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions for application and removal measurements.

Accuracy is +/-0.5% of full scale and the sampling rate is 30/sec, making the CT precise enough for most hand operated closure torque tests.

Three capacities are available: 12 lb.in (135Ncm), 50 lb.in (570Ncm), and 100 lb.in (1150Ncm).

The tester includes a set of four adjustable sample gripping posts, AC adapter, 9V battery, user's guide, and NIST-traceable certificate of calibration.

The CT is covered by an industry-leading three-year warranty.
