ERP and manufacturing software achieved a 30% productivity gain for a machinery manufacturer combined with 50% faster goods deliveries, while reducing costs by 30%.

Established in 1877, Spuehl is a machine-building company based in the east of Switzerland.

In 1998, it began a major project to re-engineer its business processes and make it more profitable.

To support the new business processes, Spuehl AG evaluated a new ERP and manufacturing software solution.

Six years after the initial project, Spuehl has now completed its migration to the latest version of iScala and is using the new visual manufacturing tools to support their lean and agile business vision.

By deploying this integrated solution, Spuehl has far exceeded its original targets achieving a 30% productivity gain combined with the ability to deliver ordered goods to customers 50% faster while reducing manufacturing operating costs by 30%.

Another customer leveraging iScala 2.2 is Cavotec Group, a global provider and world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative mobile power supply solutions.

With seven manufacturing companies located in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden, and 24 sales and service companies, the Cavotec Group serves more than 30 countries on five continents.

New features include requisition management capabilities to support stock requisitions, managing the entire process through to approval and fulfillment.

New central warehousing functionality allows sales offices to view local and central warehouses to assess inventory situations, such as on-hand inventory balances, known inventory plans and available to promise status.

This enables companies to focus on fulfilling customer requirements while reducing inventory.

New security protocols around journal capabilities have been added for improved audit trails to addressing corporate governance requirements.

Additionally, Epicor iScala 2.2 features a new Bill of Materials configurator and supply chain enhancements such as stock allocation, stock valuation by item or by warehouse modules.

Integration of service information to iScala CRM enables customers to view service information as well as sales and quotations.

Additionally functional enhancements have been added to the iScala Service Management, Contract Management and Asset Management modules.

New features to address the hospitality industry have also been added, as well as expanded support for the pharmaceutical and industrial markets.

Enhancing Epicor iScala's global support, new localization features have been added to address the local legal and fiscal needs for the vast majority of South American countries.

Additionally, localization enhancements have been added for Germany, Austria, Sweden, Russia and Thailand.
