Speakerbus will be switching their ERP system to the comprehensive Epicor ERP suite

Speakerbus has announced that they have selected Force 9 Business Solutions to assist with the process of updating their current enterprise resource planning (ERP) system Speakerbus will be switching their ERP system from Infor's MAX and Hornbill's Supportworks to Irvine, CA-based Epicor Software Corporation's Vantage, a comprehensive ERP suite recognised worldwide for its capability to enable manufacturing users to maximise operational efficiency

Speakerbus plc will be utilising the experienced team of consultants from Force 9 to assist in the implementation process.

"We chose to work with the Force 9 team as they have extensive knowledge of our business processes and our current implementation," said Richard Trubger Operations Director at Speakerbus.

"They have invested heavily in developing skills and tools to ease the transition from MAX to Vantage, which will help us to minimise the disruption of the migration process".

"We are absolutely delighted that Speakerbus have chosen us as the supplier of their new ERP system," commented Derek Sanderson, managing director of Force 9.

"Since SSA Global announced in 2005 that it would no longer be developing the MAX ERP solution, we decided to look at viable migration options for existing users and we are thrilled that Speakerbus have endorsed our view that Epicor's Vantage is the natural replacement system".

"Force 9 looked at a considerable number of alternative vendors and products to find one that offered the 'best fit' for the MAX user community," said Mark Fielden, who runs the MAX User Group.

"By choosing Vantage, and its subsequent adoption by Speakerbus, they have demonstrated a clear alternative migration path for MAX users".

"We are delighted with the selection of Force 9 and Epicor's Vantage business solution by Speakerbus," said Harry Mowat, Director, Channel Sales for Epicor in EMEA.

"We chose to work with Force 9 because of their skills and comprehensive knowledge of the MAX ERP software".

"As part of the Force 9 team, we believe we can help their customers, and others within the MAX user community, transition to Vantage, an ERP solution which delivers a true service-oriented architecture (SOA) suited to manufacturing operations of all types".

Manufacturers around the world rely on Vantage, a complete end-to-end manufacturing system that addresses the core business needs of make-to-order and mixed-mode manufacturers.

The modular suite has built-in workflows managing the entire order cycle including Marketing, Sales, Production and Planning, Sourcing and Procurement, Installation and Service, through to financial recognition.
