Coatings developer expands sales team

With sales up 15% for the year, engineered performance coatings developer Ellison Surface Technologies is positioning itself for continued growth in 2005 by adding a sales professional to its team.

With sales up 15% for the year, engineered performance coatings developer Ellison Surface Technologies (EST) is positioning itself for continued growth in 2005 with the addition of a new high-level sales professional to its team.

Bill Conley has joined EST as Senior Sales Representative to help drive continued growth at EST's coatings facility in Rutland, Vermont.

Conley brings 30 years of industry experience to EST, including sales management roles at Engelhard Surface Technology, Sermatech and Walbar Metals.

Conley's expertise with gas turbine manufacturers and operators is particularly desirable since EST is strengthening its presence in the power generation industry, according to Ellison Group Chief Marketing Officer Randy Sadler.

"We're expanding our capabilities in Rutland to support this growth," Sadler says.

EST is in the process of adding 10,000ft2 of operating space to its Rutland plant, an expansion that Sadler says will be completed by the end of first quarter 2005.

"Bill knows the industries we serve and the clients we're targeting, and he has a solid sales record with the technologies we use," says Sadler.

A member of the Ellison Group family of technology-driven industrial companies, EST has been known since 1986 as a leading developer and applicator of high-performance metal, ceramic and cermet thermal spray coatings for decreasing wear and increasing resistance to chemicals, heat and oxidation.
