Single-acting diaphragm pump saves time and money
Energy Pumps has introduced a heavy-duty single-acting diaphragm pump with a higher flowrate and a one year warranty including wear parts.
Energy Pumps has launched a higher flowrate range of single-acting diaphragm pumps, opening a whole new area of pumping possibilities for diaphragm pumps where previously only RAM Piston, lobe or PC type pumps were used, saving the end user time, money, energy and maintenance/man hours.
Energy Diaphragm Pumps can handle thick primary sludges, generally between 0.5 to 10 percent dry solids on waste water applications, but has been used on primary sludges up to 18 percent dry solids on intermittent use.
Flowrates are currently from 0.5 l/s (1.8 m3/h) up to 10l/s (36 m3/h) and by September 2007 we will be able to take orders for the latest diaphragm pump to our range (The Manta) which will handle flows up to 35 l/s (126 m3/h).
Diaphragm pumps are self priming and suitable for applications where a suction lift is required up to 6.5mtrs and delivery heads of up to 60mtrs which is determined by drive type and non-return valve type.
One of the main problems with the transfer of fluids is ENERGY, Energy Pumps generally requires 50 percent less installed power than our competitors, namely lobe type pumps, PC type pumps and RAM Piston pumps.
Energy Diaphragm pumps are also more suited to abrasive fluids, ie sludges with sand, grit, stones, rag, and have even been seen to pump the odd crushed tin can, spanner, golf balls and snail shells without damage or blockage to the pump.
Energy Diaphragm Pumps can be electrically or Hydraulically Driven (not Air), and can also be trolley or trailer mounted with engine or generator for a total HEAVY DUTY portable pumping solution.
Other main advantages that Energy Diaphragm Pumps have is that the pump is very simple to maintain with nothing more than a spanner, Allen key and screwdriver to replace the diaphragm and non-return valves (Lifting device will be required for larger pumps) all within about 1/2 to 3/4 hour.
Although the Energy Diaphragm Pump was originally developed for use within the waste water industry for Primary, Humus, RAS, SAS desludging/transfer duties, this type of pump has found uses within numerous other process industries like: Farm slurry, Foundries, Refineries, Auto Plants, Glass Plants, Railroad, meat processing, sand and gravel plants, cement plants, Mining, Paper an Pulp, Tanneries, Textile Mills, Ceramic slip, Plating Plants, Potable Water Plants, Power Plants, Food Processing Wastes, Landfill Leachate, Distilleries/Breweries/Wineries waste, Laundries, Soap Plants.
On the majority of applications, Energy Diaphragm Pumps come with a standard 1 year warranty for both the pump and the wear parts ie diaphragm and non-return valves.
No other Diaphragm, RAM, PC or lobe pump manufacturer in the UK offers this type of warranty, allowing you to easily budget for your spares/maintenance costs.
Do not mistake Energy Diaphragm Pumps with any other diaphragm pump, our pumps are designed to good old heavy duty British engineering standards, giving you year after year of trouble free pumping.
