UK laser marking supplier opens up in Germany
UK marking systems manufacturer, Electrox, has opened a 40m2 showroom in Germany in conjunction with its distributor, Haberstroh.
600 Group has further increased its presence in the European market through its laser marking specialist, Electrox.
The only fully integrated laser marking systems manufacturer based in the UK, Electrox has opened a prestigious new showroom in Germany in conjunction with its distributor, Haberstroh.
The 40m2 new showroom enables Haberstroh, which became the Electrox distributor for Germany after EMO 2005, to demonstrate readily the full range of Electrox laser marking machines and to undertake customer training and applications project at its own site.
Chief Executive of 600 Group, Andrew Dick, said: "This is a significant move.
The European market is a very important one for Electrox, as it is for all our businesses, and is ripe for development.
The opening of the new showroom, located in Knittlingen and well placed to serve the whole of the German market, is complementary to Electrox's recent appointment of a dedicated European Business Development Manager.
The company has been successful at selling its marking systems in Germany and anticipates a further, substantial increase in sales now it has the new showroom/training facility.
The advantage Electrox has over other competitors is that it both offers a comprehensive range of laser markers, so has the ideal system for any industrial application almost whatever the requirement.
Electrox is a fully integrated manufacturer so can easily modify or adapt a standard system to meet specific application requirements." Factory-trained laser marking specialists will be working from the new showroom to provide applications and service support to customers.
Full customer training facilities are also housed within the showroom although engineers are able to undertake training at a customer?s site should that be more appropriate.
Machines demonstrated at the new showroom include the compact MaxBox fibre laser and the Cobra ES workstation.
These are representative of the entire Electrox range, which includes the ground-breaking Raptor EF Technology laser, the Scorpion fibre laser, the Razor CO2 laser, the Cobra V-12/20 Nd:Vanadate laser, the Cobra Nd:YAG and the Scriba lamp pumped system.
Systems range in size from the compact MaxBox, a workbench sized system ideally suited to companies where floor space is at a premium or which new to laser marking, through to stand-alone workstations and systems designed specifically for integrators to incorporate into a production line.
Electrox laser marking systems are capable of cost effective marking in everything from one-off to high volume applications.
