Lobe Knobs used for clamping or shaft turning are now offered by Elesa-Clayton in six colour options and new high gloss, shatterproof thermoplastics.
Easily fitted to machine components and jigs Elesa-Clayton's range includes the GN614 stainless steel or acetyl resin ball unit with push-in body in 4,5,6 and 8mm dia.
GN615 is offered with stainless steel ball and screw-in bodies from M3 to M25 dia and 7mm to 34mm length accommodating even awkward depth constraints.
Where a non-metallic component is required the GN615.2 comes with acetyl resin ball and body in M6, M8 and M10 dia.
For heavy-duty applications types GN615.1 and GN616 offer spring bolt plungers with reinforced spring options in casing sizes from M3 to M24.
Bolts in hardened steel and nitrided stainless steel are available.
A variety of operating modes are offered including a rapid 180ø lever (with retaining notch), pull and turn to lock out, and simple pull/release types.
Construction of Elesa-Clayton indexing plungers includes a burnished steel body with hardened stainless steel pin.
Flange mounted units include type 608 indexing plungers which have an M4 or M5 mounted flange and offer pull/release action, while version 608.1 features pull-twist/stop-release.
They are manufactured in burnished steel with a ground and hardened steel bolt of 10mm or 12mm diameter.
Flanges accept countersunk screws for ease of mounting on thin material, such as steel plate, while the operating knobs are in special high strength technopolymer resistant to general industrial solvents etc., and knurled for ease of operation. Request a free brochure from Elesa (UK) ...
