Elesa's Clayton brand of positioning indicators has a reputation for clarity, accuracy and robustness - their PW12 does not disappoint.

Elesa's Clayton brand of positioning indicators has, says the company, a reputation for clarity, accuracy and robustness - their PW12 does not disappoint.

This PW12 model features a positive drive for operation in any orientation coupled with an IP65 housing and a clear digital readout with analogue dial sharing the final digit.

Positive drive indicators offer benefits over gravity units in that they can be used in any position - even on a vertical shaft - gravity units of course only work reliably on shafts up to 60deg from horizontal.

Thus quick and accurate machine spindle adjustments by operators working in manual mode are greatly facilitated.

The PW12 is housed in a glass reinforced technopolymer case with transparent dial lens, this is ultrasonically welded to ensure IP65 protection.

Diameter is a standard 67mm to enable fitment to the wide range of Elesa handwheels.
