Vibratory unit feeds stud bolts heads down

An Elscint Automation product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jul 8, 2003

Normally, stud bolts are fed in 'Head Up' or axial position through a vibratory bowl feeder, but these bolts can now be fed 'heads down'.

Normally, stud bolts are fed in 'Head Up' or axial position through a vibratory bowl feeder.

However, Elscint has developed a vibratory bowl feeder which feeds the stud bolts in heads down position i.e the stem is up.

Elscint Automation manufactures five Models of vibratory parts feeders, namely Model 100, Model 160, Model 250, Model 400 and Model 630.

Any of these Models can be used for this purpose depending upon the size of the stud bolts being fed.

A wide range of stud bolts are also possible to be fed in the same bowl with slight change over of tooling.

Very high feed rates ranging from 80 pieces per minute to 300 pieces per minute are possible again depending upon the size of the stud bolts.

This unit, which finds applications in the fastener industry as well as other allied Industries is available at a very competitive price within a very low delivery period.
