Bowl feeder handles spherical rollers

Monish Shete, director of Elscint Automation informed that separate vibratory bowl feeders have been developed for spherical rollers having diameter less than Length and those where the Diameter is more than or equal to length.

Spherical Rollers having diameters as large as 50mm and lengths of 80mm can be fed through these bowl feeders.

He further clarified that Elscint Vibratory Bowl Feeder Model 400 has been used for this application.

Additionally, as the weight of the spherical rollers is more and the loading height is high, a belt type hopper elevator has been provided.

This leads to dumping of the heavy rollers at the ground level and reduces operator loading and interference.
